Terms
Plain language, and short enough to read. Using servr.gg means agreeing to this.
What servr.gg does
It builds a public web page for a community from what its Discord server and its game and voice servers already publish, and shows the owner where its visitors came from. Building a page is free; the address it lives at is what you pay for.
Nothing here is affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Discord Inc., Mojang or Microsoft, TeamSpeak Systems, Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive, Cfx.re, or Valve. Their names are used only to say which servers a page can show.
Who can use it
You need to hold Manage Server in the Discord server you connect, and to run any game or voice server you connect, and you must be old enough to use Discord where you live. Connecting a server you do not run is not allowed and the page will be removed. A verified tick means servr checked you run the server, but proving it does not make a server yours if it is not.
Your content stays yours
The text, images and layout you put on your page remain yours. You give servr.gg permission to host and display them, which is what publishing a page means, and nothing further — no reuse in marketing, no sale, no licensing on.
By publishing you confirm you have the right to publish what is on the page, including anything a member wrote that appears on it.
What is not allowed
The list is on Takedowns. Short version: nothing illegal, nothing sexual involving minors, no harassment of named people, no impersonation, no malware, and nothing you do not have the right to post.
Automated scraping, attempts to break the service, and attempts to reach data belonging to servers you do not run are all out of bounds.
Paid plans
The editor, every widget and every theme are free, and always will be. What a
plan buys is the address at servr.gg/your-handle, the history behind your
numbers, where your members came from, and more game and voice servers checked
every fifteen seconds to a minute; on Network, more pages, custom CSS and no byline.
Plans are billed monthly or yearly and cancel whenever you like, through the billing portal linked in your dashboard. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for — you keep everything until then.
Prices can change with thirty days’ notice; a change never applies to a period already paid.
Refunds are handled case by case. If something did not work, say so.
When a plan ends
Seven days after the paid period ends, your pages are held to what the free plan allows. The week is there so a card that expires, or a renewal a bank declines, does not change anything the same hour.
The free plan includes one page, at a link servr.gg assigns to it. A name of your own choosing is part of a paid plan. So after those seven days:
- a page at a name you chose stops answering at that name, and the name is released; the page carries on at its assigned link, on the free plan;
- if you had more than one page, the oldest keeps answering and the others stop.
Nothing is deleted. Every page, widget and word stays exactly as you left it. Start paying again and you can choose a name again — the same one, provided nobody else has claimed it in the meantime.
Pages connected before servr.gg began charging for addresses keep working and are not affected by any of this.
See plans and billing for how to cancel and what happens next.
Stopping
Hide the page from your dashboard , remove the bot, or
run /publish on:false, and the page comes down. Ask and everything stored
about your community is deleted — what that covers is on
Privacy.
servr.gg can suspend a page that breaches these terms, and will say why.
No promises about uptime
This is a small product. It will have outages. Nothing here is warranted to be available, correct, or fit for anything in particular, and servr.gg is not liable for losses arising from using it. Where the law where you live gives you rights that cannot be waived, that sentence does not take them away.
Changes
Material changes are announced before taking effect. Continuing to use servr.gg after that means accepting them.
